- Practice good hygiene and kitchen cleanliness, wash hands before cooking and after handling raw meat, sanitize cutting boards and wipe surfaces.

- Entries for individuals have no entry fee.
- Plan to bring four to six quarts of Chili.
- Provide your own method of keeping it warm, like a crock pot, catering chafing dish / sterno etc.
(We will provide a 3’x3′ table space and extension cords.) - We will provide compostable tasting cups and spoons, and all entrants must serve their chili using the provided cups. (For uniformity of presentation.)
- It’s okay to bring side dishes or accompaniments to showcase your entry. (Crackers, cornbread, cheese etc.)
- “Theming” or decorating your table space or related costumes are encouraged.
- Townie Favorite will be determined by a vote of all paying guests, the other categories will be judged by a panel of judges.
- Entries must register in advance.
